Privacy Policy v1
All core functionality runs on your device and remains fully usable offline.
No ads
This app does not show ads. The developer does not sell, rent, license, or otherwise monetize user data.
On-device processing
Accessibility data used by this app's Accessibility Service are processed solely on your device.
Settings and cumulative feature-use counters are stored on your device.
Data protection
This app contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting code.
Optional Usage Reports and Error Reports are encrypted inside the app before upload and remain encrypted while being routed, hosted, and stored. Only the developer can decrypt and read them. A compromise of the receiving or storage infrastructure would not reveal the report contents. You can use all app features without enabling either report.
App Text Correction checks are encrypted during transfer. The routing and security provider uses the limited request data needed to route and protect each check through globally distributed infrastructure:
Cloudflare, Inc. United States dpo@cloudflare.com
When information is transferred to Cloudflare in the United States, the transfer relies, as applicable, on Cloudflare's certifications under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. These mechanisms provide recognized adequate protection for participating U.S. organizations. Where one of these frameworks does not apply, Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum provides the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK Addendum or Swiss adaptations where required. The safeguards are available at:
https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/
The developer's server uses the limited request data described in this policy to select the appropriate correction. The server and its storage are hosted in Germany by:
Hetzner Online GmbH Germany data-protection@hetzner.com
For both optional reports and App Text Correction checks, these providers may process ordinary connection information such as the IP address, request time, and request size.
Cloudflare also hosts the public website and may process the same ordinary connection information through its globally distributed infrastructure to deliver and protect the pages you request, based on the developer's legitimate interest in doing so. The website cannot be delivered without this processing, but not visiting it does not affect the app's offline features.
Cloudflare uses this connection information to provide, protect, maintain, and improve its services. How long it retains the information depends on why it is needed, its amount and sensitivity, the privacy risk of keeping it, whether less data would suffice, and applicable legal requirements.
Under South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), routing optional reports relies on your consent; routing App Text Correction checks and delivering requested website pages are necessary to provide those online services; and hosting and storage in Germany rely on recognized equivalent protection in the European Union and European Economic Area. The corresponding transfer bases are Article 28-8(1)(1), (3), and (5).
Optional Usage Reports
If enabled, Usage Reports may be sent after selected app-use events. They contain limited technical information about the app and information about how its features are configured and used.
The reports are used to understand feature use and improve the app.
This processing is based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by turning off Usage Reports on the About screen.
Optional Error Reports
If enabled, Error Reports may be sent after crashes, app freezes, or serious errors. They contain limited technical diagnostic information and may include recent app logs and limited information about the app's configuration and feature use.
The reports are used only to diagnose problems and improve the app's reliability.
This processing is based on your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by turning off Error Reports on the About screen.
App Text Corrections
After you acknowledge this policy, App Text Corrections may check whether a correction is available for wording shown by this app.
Each check sends limited information about the app version, the configured language variant, and the app text being checked so the server can select the right correction.
These checks provide corrections and create aggregate statistics. This processing is based on the developer's legitimate interest in using those statistics to identify possible localization-related usability problems and keep app text accurate and understandable.
Once setup is complete, you can object to future App Text Correction checks at any time by turning off App Text Corrections on the About screen. If you turn off App Text Corrections, the app uses only the wording included with your installed app version.
Google Play and Android backup
Google Play independently handles app distribution and purchases under Google's own terms and privacy policy. This app receives the purchase information needed to verify and provide PRO.
Links used to promote the app may include a source or campaign label. Google may use that label to attribute Google Play visits and acquisitions and provide the developer with aggregate performance statistics.
Android cloud backup may store this app's preferences in your Google account. Android device transfer may also copy preferences, cumulative local usage counters, and cached PRO access status to a new device. These platform services are controlled by Android and Google, not by the developer's server.
Actions you initiate
When you initiate an action that hands content to another app or service, the receiving app or service controls how that content is handled after the handoff.
Retention
The developer retains Usage Reports and Error Reports, records of App Text Correction checks, and associated request and connection metadata for no longer than 90 days. After the applicable retention period, these electronic records are permanently deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent for Usage Reports or Error Reports and object to future App Text Correction checks using the switches on the About screen. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing based on your consent. Where applicable, data-protection law also provides rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, and portability. You have the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.
Controller and contact
The controller for the processing described in this policy is:
Maksym Piu Bundsensweg 16 20537 Hamburg Germany niftyui@gmail.com
You can use the contact details above for privacy questions, applicable rights requests, and privacy complaints.
The information you provide when contacting the developer is used to respond to questions, feedback, and support requests, based on the developer's legitimate interest in doing so. Where processing or retention is required by law, that legal obligation provides the basis. Correspondence is delivered and stored using the following email provider, which processes it under its own terms and privacy policy:
Google Ireland Limited Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4 Ireland https://support.google.com/policies/answer/9581826
Correspondence is retained only as long as needed to respond or meet applicable legal obligations.
